AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 123, TRAFFIC, § 123-27.1, SCHEDULE VA, DISABLED PERSONS PARKING, OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF RIVERTON

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the aforementioned Ordinance was introduced and passed upon first reading, by title only, at a meeting of the Riverton Governing Body, in the County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, held on July 15, 2026.

Further, the same Ordinance was adopted after a second reading by title only, after a public hearing during a meeting of the Riverton Governing Body to be held on August 19, 2026, commencing at 6:30 pm, prevailing time.

EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

This Ordinance amends Chapter 123, Traffic, § 123-27.1, Schedule VA: Disabled Persons Parking, to designate an additional disabled persons parking area on Lippincott Avenue. The designated parking area shall be located on the east side of Midway Avenue, beginning at a point 67 feet from the southeasterly corner of Lippincott Avenue and Midway Avenue and extending southward to a point 320 feet from the northeasterly corner of Thomas Avenue. The amendment is intended to provide additional accessible parking for qualified disabled persons.
