AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 123, TRAFFIC, § 123-27.1, SCHEDULE VA, DISABLED PERSONS PARKING, OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF RIVERTON

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Ordinance identified by Title as hereinafter set forth as introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Riverton Governing Body, in the County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, held on July 15, 2026.  The same Ordinance will be further considered for final passage, after a public hearing during a meeting of the Riverton Governing Body to be held on August 19, 2026, commencing at 6:30 pm, prevailing time, or at any time and place to which such meeting from time to time may be adjourned.

EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

This Ordinance amends Chapter 123, Traffic, § 123-27.1, Schedule VA: Disabled Persons Parking, to designate an additional disabled persons parking area on Lippincott Avenue. The designated parking area shall be located on the east side of Lippincott Avenue, beginning at a point 67 feet from the southeasterly corner of Lippincott Avenue and Midway Avenue and extending southward to a point 320 feet from the northeasterly corner of Thomas Avenue. The amendment is intended to provide additional accessible parking for qualified disabled persons located at 307 Midway.
