Learn more about climate-related hazards in our Community. The Borough of Riverton recently took part in a Route 130 Corridor Climate Change-Related Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (CCRHVA). This project was coordinated by Burlington County and funded by a grant from the NJDEP through their Resilient NJ program. As the County explains, “a CCRHVA is a planning document that focuses on hazards such as sea level rise, heat, and other climate-related hazards impacting our community. New Jersey requires each municipality to incorporate a CCRHVA into any new land use plan element of the municipal master plan. Developing a CCRHVA will lay the groundwork to meet the requirements of the State’s Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL).” Thank you to everyone who provided input on this document!
